Before Meeting Your Therapist

Before your first appointment with your therapist, you will need to complete your paperwork. We make this incredibly simple; all of our paperwork is completed electronically through a secure, easy to use online portal. The system is so simple you can even do it from your phone.

Paperwork will be sent to you by our helpful and knowledgeable Scheduling Team. It is important to complete your paperwork at least 24 hours before your session so your therapist can review it in advance. It is a good idea to arrive early so you can relax and “get a feel” for where you are. Your therapist will come out at the scheduled time to greet you.

Meeting Your Therapist

Once your appointment time comes, your therapist will come and meet you in the waiting room. Once back in their private office your session will begin. The first session is usually centered on understanding your symptoms as well as past and current circumstances which may have contributed to your symptoms. Together, you and your therapist will make a plan for therapy.

If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your therapist, they will be happy to refer you to another licensed therapist who is a better fit for you – whether that be another Carolina Counseling Services – Fuquay-Varina, NC counselor/therapist or someone outside of CCS.

We Want What Is Best for YOU

Carolina Counseling Services maintains that you will make the most progress and strides when you have a therapist that’s the right fit for you. You can always call CCS to make any request. Similarly, the therapist will also refer you to another professional practitioner within CCS if that therapist believes another therapist can help you better based on the initial evaluation.

We will be able to refer you to an outside therapist if your need is something that is not among our expertise. This is because your health and interest are Carolina Counseling Services’ top concern. It is essential to us that you receive the kind of treatment that you need and deserve.
