Aisha Alston, MA, LCMHC

If you are seeking counseling for an array of challenges faced in life, I can help.

There are two Mantra’s I often refer to in therapy with my clients. Change is a personal choice which is often uncomfortable. The other is, what you allow will continue. If that resonates with you, I ask are you ready for “CHANGE”? Are you ready to get “UNCOMFORTABLE”? If so, I look forward to working with you. Please call to schedule an appointment today. I look forward to helping you work through your related life difficulties. Food, water and shelter are basic needs for survival. Love, kindness, compassion and empathy is necessity to thrive.

The counseling experience involves your active involvement in the process, as well as my own. Together, we will work to resolve your concerns and, hopefully, to improve the quality of your emotional life. You will be asked to apply yourself both during, and in between, our sessions. There may be homework assignments for you, including journaling, thinking about certain topics related to your situation, or completing other appropriate projects. All of these tasks are geared towards helping you to achieve the goals that we have identified for you in counseling.
